Pilot Corporation has already taken a step towards environmental sustainability with the introduction of their B2P Bottle-2-Pen ballpoint pens – pens made from 86% recycled bottles. They've shown us that usability and high quality don't have to be compromised for the sake of our planet. This petition calls for Pilot Corporation to set a new standard in the stationery industry by taking their current sustainable practices beyond the B2P, Precise, RexGrip, VBoard, & VBall range and producing all their pens from recyclable materials. Currently, about 2.5 million plastic bottles are dumped in U.S landfills every hour, accounting for almost 50% of all recyclable waste. Transitioning to fully recycled plastic pens could play a significant role in reducing this number. We request Pilot Corporation to set a higher bar for environmental responsibility.
