A protest is planned for Tuesday at the OCDSB offices (133 Greenbank Rd.) starting at 5:30 PM. The delegation meeting on the EPR begins at 6:30 PM.

While the revised proposal has addressed some significant concerns, several critical issues remain unresolved:

• Elimination of 26 Specialized Program Classes (SPCs)
• Phasing out alternative schools (ASAC has provided some great information on this) 
• No grandparenting provisions for affected students (the OCDSB will offer “exemptions” not grandparenting) 
• Questionable viability of some newly proposed programs

We must continue to press the OCDSB to conduct proper due diligence by adhering to the PAR guidelines before implementing these far-reaching changes.
