I am of one millions of American who believes in the rule of law, our Constitution, and democracy. 

In light of the continued and flagrant disregard for our Constitution by the Trump administration and in defiance of Federal Courts, we urge former Presidents Barack Obama, Joe Biden and Bill Clinton, Secretary Hillary Clinton, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Governor Tim Walz to stand up with one voice and call for a general strike. This is not a partisan issue, but a matter of standing up for our democracy and our Constitution.

A general strike is one of the only collective actions that could break through the partisan media environment and force accountability on this administration and the Republican congressional enablers. 

The Obamas, Clintons, Bidens, Harris and Walz have vast networks they can draw on, the ability to dominate headlines, and the legitimacy with the Democratic rank-and-file voters as well as many other Americans. With a single statement, including a specific strike date, they could rally tens of millions of people to act.

This is our plea to these leaders: we are the ones who put who in power through our voting and our activism. You have a responsibility - to the rule of law, our constitution, and to Democracy. Please hear us and take action. You can no longer remain mute spectators.
