Kia ora, many of you will have seen my post on Mastodon but I will attempt, as promised, to contact you and let you know the official petition is live on the NZ parliament website here: https://petitions.parliament.nz/0cbe8214-89b7-45e5-3c5b-08dec98aceba?lang=en

I will still keep this version of the petition open as the real goal is to show that people care about this issue and to educate and bring it into view of more people which is really what is needed to keep the current government as well as campaigning parties and future governments accountable.
