As a devoted fan of the Grishaverse, I find solace in the world created by Leigh Bardugo. The series "Shadow and Bone" has become a safe haven not only for me but also for countless other fans, the author herself, and everyone involved in its production. It is more than just entertainment - it is a community that brings together people from all walks of life.

The first season was released on April 23, 2021, with an impressive viewership that ranked it among Netflix's top ten shows in over 93 countries (source: Nielsen ratings). Its second season was delayed due to COVID, and then the decision to renew was delayed to to the WGA and SAG strikes, and they have decided to cancel the show and not let it air for its final season. We are also advocating for Netflix to greenlight the spin-off series based on Bardugo's duology "Six of Crows", which will further enrich this universe we have come to love.

By renewing "Shadow and Bone" for a third season and approving the spin-off series, Netflix would be acknowledging its commitment towards high-quality fantasy storytelling while respecting its diverse audience base who find representation within these stories.
