Urge NCSoft to Address Innova Co. SARL's Mismanagement of Lineage2 Essence and Eva Project

The Issue

As devoted players of the Lineage2 Essence and Eva project, we, based in the EU region, have been left to feel gravely sidelined. Innova Co. SARL, the company distributing the game product here under license from global game powerhouse NCSoft, is not preserving the integrity of our game experience. The distributor, who derives its authority from NCSoft, is responsible for delivering us a gameplay experience that mirrors the one enjoyed by players in the home country, Korea. However, they have not been respecting the standards of the license granted to them by NCSoft; their execution of game updates, patches, and event hosting has been glaringly uneven when compared to how the main project runs in its base Korea and other licensed regions like the US and RU. This has resulted in an experience for us, players in the EU region, which feels heinously unequal.

Research shows that trust erosion in a gaming company can lead to a 64% reduction in player engagement (Video Game Consumer Behavior Report, 2020). As such, we feel our grievances could impact not just our own experiences, but also Innova Co. SARL's reputation and bottom line.

We implore NCSoft to pay attention to this pressing concern. We urgently request them to enforce their licensing agreement with Innova Co. SARL and ensure that EU players, too, can participate in Lineage2 Essence and Eva project to its fullest, as was intended by the creators. Sign this petition to steer NCSoft's attention to this matter.

The EU region feels it's being running under a mob rather than a company, and that can be felt by answers the management staff is giving to players' questions, demanding a full transparency when it comes to updates of the game. Below we are posting an answer received by one of the management  staff of Innova Co. SARL company regarding an insight of the game's update.

This is one example of the many on how players in EU region are being treated by the distributor of the game.

Another example yet here, on how they do not clearly follow the guidelines regarding events, offers and promotions of each game update as being instructed by the main company of the game.

This is one the hundreds of complains Innova Co. SARL receives in their discord server by players about fairness and treatment inside the game and which complains are just being ignored and getting answered like this answer below.

Something has to change in this continuously bad situation that takes place in the EU region. The game is dying day by day because of the bad management. Old players are not returning, new players give up after a week or so in the game and the community slowly dies with it. Before closing this petition, asking from the main company NCSoft and the core ownership of the game in Korea, we post a few more of the player's voices who demand a clean and fair game in EU. Thank you for supporting us, the gamers.
