Urge McDonald's to Revert to Beef Tallow for Frying French Fries

The Issue

I, like many others, fondly remember the distinct taste of McDonald's french fries when they were fried in beef tallow. The flavor was unparalleled and made us fall in love with those golden sticks of joy. Unfortunately, this generation and future ones are missing out on that unique experience as McDonald's has switched to using canola-blend oil.

Seed oils like canola have been marketed as healthier alternatives but recent studies suggest otherwise. They contain high levels of Omega-6 fatty acids which can lead to inflammation and other health issues when consumed in excess (Source: Harvard School of Public Health). On the other hand, animal fats like beef tallow were unfairly demonized due to misinformation propagated by the sugar industry. In reality, they do not cause heart disease (Source: British Medical Journal).

Moreover, it is worth noting that beef tallow contributes a richer flavor profile compared to vegetable oils making our beloved fries tastier.

We believe that everyone deserves the chance to enjoy McDonald's french fries at their best - fried in beef tallow. We urge McDonald's Corporation to consider this change for the benefit of our taste buds and overall health.
