Thank you for signing and sharing the petition to ask the Katy ISD School Board to table their proposed CW Local Policy changes- that would dramatically alter the Facilities Naming process- until after the May 2025 election.

Please continue to share the petition, and let your fellow Katy ISD neighbors, friends and families know you are concerned about the changes to the naming facility that the Katy ISD school board plans to consider tomorrow night. 

Feel free to share the petition in places where you know there may be uninformed Katy ISD stakeholders- school pages, neighborhood pages, your personal social media pages, your group texts with Katy ISD friends. 

Don't forget, you can also sign up to speak at the Katy ISD Board Meeting's public forum- email publicrecords@katyisd.org before 2pm tomorrow (Monday), and let them know you'd like to speak on Agenda Item 10.1 Consider Revisions to CW Local Naming Facilities Policy. Speakers will have to sign in in-person by 4:45pm.

The public is also welcome to attend and observe the meeting, even if you don't plan to speak- public forum starts around 5pm, and you can leave at any time. The meeting will take place at the Educational Support Complex (ESC). 

Additionally, members of the public can email the Katy ISD school board and ask them to table the proposed changes to CW Local Naming Facilities Policy until after the May 2025 election- or even to scrap the changes all together.
