Olive deserves to come back.

Olive was one of those colors that became part of the identity of Among Us. Even though it might seem like “just a color” to some people, colors in Among Us are much more than that. They are how players recognize themselves, their friends, their favorite characters, and even memories from older versions of the game. When a color disappears, it can feel like a small part of the game's history disappears with it.

That is why we believe Olive should return.

Olive has a unique appearance that isn't easily replaced by another color. Green, Lime, Cyan, and other colors may exist, but Olive has its own identity. It has a darker, more muted, earthy appearance that makes it stand out without being overly bright. It gives players another way to customize their Crewmate and create characters that look different from everyone else.

One of the biggest reasons to bring Olive back is player choice. Among Us is a game where customization is a huge part of the experience. Players can choose their color, hat, visor, skin, pet, name, and other cosmetics to make their character feel like their own. Adding Olive back would give players another choice instead of forcing them to use a similar color as a replacement.

And honestly, sometimes a replacement just isn't the same.

If someone liked Olive, giving them Green isn't necessarily going to satisfy them. Green and Olive may look somewhat similar, but they have completely different vibes. Olive has a more mysterious, muted, and distinctive appearance. For players who specifically remember Olive, another green shade doesn't replace it.

Olive could also be useful for character creation and storytelling.

The Among Us community has created countless characters, headcanons, animations, comics, memes, and stories using the game's colors. Some people associate specific personalities or roles with certain colors. Bringing Olive back would allow creators to use the color again for their own characters without having to substitute another color.

It could also help older players recreate characters they previously used.

Imagine someone having an old Among Us character who was Olive. If Olive is unavailable, recreating that character becomes much harder. The character might technically still exist in someone's memories, but the exact appearance cannot be recreated anymore.

That matters because Among Us has been around for years. The game has accumulated a huge amount of history, nostalgia, and community-created content. Bringing back older colors would be a small but meaningful way of respecting that history.

Olive doesn't need to replace another color.

It doesn't need to cause a major redesign.

It doesn't need to change gameplay.

It could simply return as an additional color for players who want it.

That makes Olive's return a relatively simple way to give the community something they have been asking for.

Another reason is variety.

Having more colors gives players more options when multiple people are playing together. With more players wanting unique appearances, having additional shades helps everyone feel more distinct. Olive would fit perfectly into that idea because it occupies a different visual space from the brighter greens and other existing colors.

Olive also has a certain personality to it.

It can look calm, mysterious, serious, funny, suspicious, or even like a character who knows something everyone else doesn't. It has a very different feeling from bright colors, and that makes it useful for both normal players and creators.

And let's be honest:

Olive is Olive.

You can't just say, “Here's Green, that'll do.”

NO.

WE WANT OLIVE.

A color doesn't have to be the most popular thing in the game to deserve to exist. Among Us is about giving players choices, and Olive is a choice that many players would appreciate having again.

Bringing Olive back would also show that the developers are willing to listen to the community and revisit things from the game's past. Sometimes the smallest additions can make players incredibly happy. A returning color could create nostalgia for longtime players while also introducing newer players to something they may never have experienced before.

Olive could return as a classic color, a legacy color, or simply another permanent option in the color selection menu. There are many ways it could be implemented without interfering with the current system.

The important thing is simply:

LET OLIVE COME BACK.

We aren't asking for a completely new game.

We aren't asking for a huge gameplay overhaul.

We aren't asking for something that would fundamentally change Among Us.

We're asking for a color that had its own identity to return so players can use it again.

For some people, Olive might just be a shade of green.

For others, it's a favorite color.

For creators, it can be an important character design.

For longtime players, it can be nostalgia.

And for the community as a whole, bringing it back would be a small reminder that Among Us can preserve and celebrate its history while continuing to evolve.

Olive deserves another chance.

Olive deserves to be selectable again.

Olive deserves to come home.

So if you agree, support the petition and help show that there are still players who want to see Olive return.
