Living in Church Langley should come with the convenience of a seamless commute, but the reality is far from it. The A414, a critical artery for our daily routines, has unfortunately become a bottleneck at the junction box leading to our main roundabout. Every morning, we've witnessed a cascade of vehicles blocking the intersection, creating unprecedented delays. A simple five-minute journey now morphs into a tedious 30-minute ordeal, causing frustration and stress among the residents.

The traffic congestion not only disrupts our lives but also poses potential safety risks. Emergency vehicles could face delays, and the increased emissions from idling cars contribute to environmental harm. This should not be the norm for a community like ours that deserves efficient infrastructure support.

We are proposing a set of actionable solutions to address this issue. Implementing traffic flow optimizations such as improved signal timings and/or clear signage at the junction box in the form of yellow box junction, could significantly alleviate congestion. Moreover, local authorities should conduct a study to assess the traffic patterns and devise a comprehensive plan for long-term improvement.

To make these changes a reality, we need to join forces and raise our concerns to the Essex County Council highways. Our collective voice can drive the necessary changes required to ensure safe and swift access in and out of Church Langley.
