Thanks so much to all of you who have signed and shared this petition! We were inspired to start it by a story out of Virginia, in which a lactation consultant's petition was successful in compelling Anthem Blue Cross to reinstate coverage of IBCLCs. You can read more about that here.

We have had our most success so far through Facebook--particularly signers who share this petition on their personal pages. If you were impacted by the loss of breastfeeding support, or simply feel strongly that abandoning these families is wrong, please consider posting to a social media platform and asking your community to sign, too. 

Stephanie and I are meeting with a state senator next week, and our goal is to have 500 signatures to show her. Next, we'll be looking to get media attention to our cause. We'll keep you posted as we hit more milestones, so you can see your impact.
