Urge Hershey Park to Provide Allergy-Friendly Treats

Urge Hershey Park to Provide Allergy-Friendly Treats
The Issue
My son has had allergies since he was born. I know how it feels to see your child being left out. We go out places and he can't have much. We did Treatville one year and he could not have one single piece of candy, despite being surrounded by other kids enjoying theirs. It was heart-breaking to watch him stand there empty-handed, just because there were no allergy-friendly options available.
Hershey Park has always been a place of joy and excitement for families from Harrisburg, PA, and beyond. The park's events, like Treatville, are especially magical, with vibrant decorations and fun for children and adults alike. But for families dealing with allergies, these moments can become instances of exclusion and sadness.
Hershey already has a solution to this problem. They produce and sell plant-based chocolate in their stores, which would cater to a wide range of allergies. By offering these allergy-friendly treats alongside the regular chocolates during their events, Hershey could ensure that no child or adult feels left out.
We are not asking Hershey Park to undertake the monumental task of creating a new line of products. The solution is already within reach! By incorporating their existing plant-based options into events like Treatville, Hershey's Tour Ride & Trick-or-Treat Trail, Hershey can make these sweet occasions inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.
It's time for us to raise our voices and ask Hershey Park to create magical and inclusive experiences for all visitors. Let's ensure that no child has to feel isolated during a time of fun and celebration just because they have allergies.
Sign this petition to urge Hershey Park to distribute their plant-based chocolate at Hershey's Tour Ride in Chocolate World, Treatville and other similar events, making them inclusive for all families. Your support can make a big difference for those who are too often excluded.
