Urge Epic Games to halt release of sexualized Kim Kardashian skin in Fortnite

Urge Epic Games to halt release of sexualized Kim Kardashian skin in Fortnite
The Issue
To Epic Games and the Fortnite Community,
We, the undersigned, call on Epic Games to reconsider and halt the release of the upcoming Kim Kardashian Fortnite skin scheduled for December 13th. While Fortnite has become a global entertainment platform enjoyed by players of all ages, it remains—first and foremost—a game with a massive child and teen audience. With that reality in mind, we believe this particular cosmetic item is inappropriate for the platform.
The design of the skin, as previewed, features bare cleavage, extremely revealing clothing, and a level of sexualization that leaves very little to the imagination. Even if something were left to imagine, our children should not be placed in a position where the burden is on them to look away, rationalize, or mentally fill in the gaps. This responsibility belongs to the adults and companies curating content—not the kids consuming it.
We believe:
A game marketed heavily toward children and teens should not introduce sexualized imagery, especially in purchasable cosmetics directly accessible to young players.
Parents deserve a say when content on a child-friendly platform begins drifting toward adult themes.
Representation and creativity do not require sexualization, especially when the player base includes millions of impressionable minors.
Epic Games has a responsibility to uphold the family-friendly environment it has long promoted.
This petition is not about any individual public figure; it is about appropriate content standards and the protection of young players who look to Fortnite as a fun, imaginative, and safe community.
We respectfully urge Epic Games to:
1. Suspend or cancel the release of the sexualized Kim Kardashian skin.
2. Reevaluate cosmetic guidelines to ensure new skins remain age-appropriate.
3. Engage parents and the community before introducing future content that may conflict with Fortnite’s youth-oriented environment.
By signing below, we stand for the well-being of children, the integrity of the gaming community, and responsible content standards.
Let’s keep Fortnite a safe space for kids—not a platform for unnecessary sexualization.
