As a dedicated viewer and fan, I've followed Disney Plus' live show for several years. One of the aspects I love about live shows is that they allow me to participate, forming a connection between the viewers and the performers. However, on the current Disney+ schedule, airing the live show at 8 pm PST instead of 5 pm PST when it's filmed, has deprived fans of this unique interactive experience. 

Due to this delay, West Coast fans don't have the opportunity to vote live, so we are trying to participate blindly. This not only transforms the show into a mere popularity contest, without assessing actual talent, but also unfairly favors East Coast viewers who get to vote in real-time. Although 5 pm is an early start time for most viewers, it could be re-aired during prime time. It might affect viewership numbers for the 8 pm show, but if that's the only reason, then they don't actually care about the fans but about money. Plus, it also might offer a new stream of revenue for ads during live shows.

This issue matters to a significant portion of Disney Plus subscribers; as of 2021, approximately 39.2% of the platform's subscribers are located on the West Coast according to data from Statista. It's critical that Disney Plus ensures all viewers have an equal chance to participate in live shows, regardless of their geographical location.

Disney Plus should respect its fans' participation and passion. We urge them to adjust their live viewing schedule to 5 pm PST with a replay at 8 pm PST, enabling all fans to experience the joy of live voting, fostering fair competition and enhancing the audience experience.
