Hello Everyone,

In just a little over two weeks, the Alumni petition has amassed over 1600 signatures.  Last week, President Beilock finally sent out the Administration's position statement. 

We decided that since enough graduates had "voiced their concerns" via this petition, this was the right time to let the Administration hear your voices as well.

While the petition was gaining momentum, we drafted a press release to be sent out to various organizations (News, educational organizations, etc.).

This morning (Monday April 28th, 202), a press release was sent out.  In conjunction with that, the petition itself, along with the 1600+ individual signatures and unsolicited comments were emailed to President Beilock, The Provost and Members of the Board of Trustees.

We are keeping the petition open, and we urge you to continue circulating and sharing it with other alums.  The more voices heard from, the more "traction" we can potentially gain.

The individual comments spanning over 50+ years of graduating classes were passionate, thoughtful and awesome.  We wanted to take the time to thank you for your participation and engagement at this critical time in history.  The fight is not over and we plan to continue our efforts.
