Dear Dartmouth Friends,

Thank you so much for signing the petition urging Dartmouth to join other colleges and universities in fighting the federal government’s attacks on higher education, students, and scholars. 

We’re delighted to report that we have over 500 signers so far. Our goal is to have close to 1,000 before we deliver it to President Beilock and the Board of Trustees.  So we’re writing to ask you to try to identify five more Dartmouth alums whom you know - perhaps people with whom you haven’t been in touch in many years - and share it with them to help us reach more potential signers. And if they sign, please urge them to do the same and share it with alums they know to help us reach critical mass. 

In the coming days, we’ll be developing a strategy to elevate awareness of this petition in the media. Thank you again for supporting this effort and for standing up for Dartmouth.
