Urge Congress to Invoke Amendment 14, Section 3 Against Trump

Urge Congress to Invoke Amendment 14, Section 3 Against Trump
The Issue
My journey begins in 1975, when I was forced to leave South Vietnam during the USSR & CCP backed invasion by North Vietnam. My family and countless others have had to endure the hardships of living under an authoritarian one party dictatorship for nearly half a century now. In this regime, the power and wealth have all been concentrated in the hands of the few, leaving the majority in poverty, with hopeless futures.
I am deeply frightened of history repeating itself, this time, however, in the United States of America under Donald Trump. His actions in allowing Ukraine to potentially fall into the control of Putin are eerily reminiscent of the circumstances that led to the fall of South Vietnam. This threatens not only the American principles of democracy, but the freedom and rights of nations globally.
In light of this, I urge Congress to invoke Amendment 14, Section 3, which clearly states that no person shall hold office if they have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies of the United States. Trump's actions in Ukraine have shown that he is more in favor of personal interests and special interests, over the wellbeing of the American people.
On this eve of January 6th, all Americans and the whole world could not forget that Trump incited the January 6, 2021 insurrection, attacking the US Capitol and even calling to "Hang Mike Pence" (Mike Pence was Trump's Vice President in 2020) to change the election 2020 results so Trump can stay in power. This was againstTrump 's oath to office, a betrayal of the US ' Constitution.
It should be noted that the election 2024, only 77,303,573 votes/ 244,666,890 eligible voters in 2024 voted for Trump . Trump's election victory is NOT A MANDATE.
It is time to act, to protect our democracy and to achieve justice. I implore you to sign this petition to urge Congress to invoke Amendment 14, Section 3 against Trump.
