Recovering human remains from a landfill can & has been done at least 3 times that I found with a quick search.  One person after 7 months. 

Andy did not just die on his own.  In some way, the perp (who's in jail but not for murder) caused Andys death, threw him in that dumpster (per his confession), stole his car, his bank cards & proceeded to go on a 6 day shopping spree with Andy's hard earned money.  No remorse whatsoever.

His current charges without recovering my sons body MAY carry about 5 years total.  That's BEFORE they give him the plea deal the district attorneys office said they'd come up with after they review the evidence. 

A plea bargain that will put the murderer back on the streets in a very short amount of time.

If my sons body is recovered, I've no doubt the charges will be upgraded to murder & hopefully put him away for a very long time.

However, the lead detective on my sons case doesn't want & gets to decide to not search the area of the landfill Andy is most likely at because, his words, " Do you know how massive a job that would be?  They dump 740,000 pounds of trash there a day".

So you dont want to do it because it will be work?  Okay, put a murderer back on the streets to kill again because you dont want to do some hard work.  Even with all the volunteers, etc that would be more than willing to DO THE RIGHT THING!

Andy is my son. The one who killed him admitted to putting him in a specific dumpster, and that dumpster went to a specific area of the landfill. Andy is not trash, and that should not be his final resting place. I want to be able to bring him home to lay him to rest properly so I can have a place to go sit and talk with him, put flowers that's not in the middle of a landfill of trash. It breaks my heart that he's there buried in trash & scares me to no end the perp will be released to do this again because now he knows how to get by with it.  Just throw the victim in a dumpster in Charlotte.  No worries.  

Well it worries me.  I don't want another moma to go through this pain.  This anguish.  I don't want another family to hurt &  not get closure because the police don't want to do the job.  The job they're paid for.

It's a nightmare. I dream of my baby there under all that garbage & I break down all the time.  Please help Andy.  Help me, his moma & his family & friends.  Andy is worth it!!

Stopping a murderer is worth it!

Please help me urge the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) to search the designated area in Anson County landfill for my son's remains. Your support can make all the difference in bringing Andy home where he belongs & most likely stop the guy from being released in a couple years to do it again.
