We have reason to believe that the children in the Hiatt family are potentially in danger, thus necessitating an immediate investigation by the Child Protective Services (CPS). Child safety is a cause for concern in the United States, with national child abuse cases involving around 6.6 million children in 2019, according to the Children's Bureau of the U.S Department of Health and Human Services. As responsible citizens, we cannot stand by when children might be at risk. Urgency is necessary in such situations, as swift action can prevent irreparable harm to children in peril.
