Victory Update: Finalizing the Denial of the Merritt Bidco Apartment Complex

We Won the Vote — Now We Must Lock It In!

As a community, we successfully convinced the Board of County Commissioners to vote NO on the massive high-density apartment complex (RU-2-15 and RU-2-30) proposed by Merritt Bidco SPV, LLC.

However, a verbal "no" isn't the final step. To make the denial legally binding and defensible against any potential developer lawsuits, the Board must formally adopt a Resolution setting forth the Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law.

This Thursday, the Commissioners will review and vote to approve the official written record detailing exactly why this project was denied.
