Merritt Island – May 7th Zoning Meeting Pioneer/ N. Courtenay 

Good evening, neighbors and supporters.

The final Board of County Commissioners vote regarding the high-density rezoning at Pioneer and North Courtenay is rapidly approaching on May 7th.

After consulting with legal experts, we have the opportunity to retain a professional law firm to represent our community's interests. To level the playing field against developers, we need to meet a $5,000 retainer fee.

The Game Plan
• The Groundwork: Chelsey and I have already completed the majority of the "heavy lifting." We’ve organized the necessary paperwork and research required for the firm to step in and represent us effectively.
• The Goal: If we can get 125 people to contribute a $40 donation, we will meet our goal and ensure our voices are heard by the County Commissioners with professional legal backing. 

• Transparency: No money is being collected at this moment. We are currently looking for pledges of interest to see if hitting this number is feasible.
