Urge BCCI to Boycott Cricket with Bangladesh

The Issue

We Urge BCCI, Government of India and Indian Cricket Players to Boycott of Cricket with Bangladesh.

I, along with many like-minded concerned citizens of India, am deeply disturbed and saddened by the continued reports of violence and intolerance against Hindus in Bangladesh. The significance of cricket matches between our nations cannot be denied - it is a symbol of goodwill, sportsmanship, and shared cultural bonds. Unfortunately, in the face of growing intolerance and targeted violence, it becomes necessary for us to rethink this engagement.

Therefore, we petition the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to immediately halt all cricket matches between India and Bangladesh. By boycotting these matches, we hope to convey our solidarity with the victims of violence and their families, demonstrating a firm stand in their support and commitment to human rights.

This call for boycott is not just a protest against the mounting intolerance but also serves as a demand for concrete actions on this grave matter. It is a message that we, as a nation, won't turn a blind eye to the sufferings of our global Indian community. The boycott is a testament to our national pride and interest - India's silence should not be mistaken for indifference. Our belief in justice, equality, and freedom is unshakeable, and we firmly believe that this boycott would reinforce our commitment to these principles.

We humbly urge the BCCI and all stakeholders involved to support and respect our plea. Stand with us in unity and let's strive for a world where cricket once again becomes a symbol of unity and tolerance, not intimidation and violence. We have a responsibility to make our voices heard. Only together, we can make a difference. Please sign this petition now!

- *Violent Attacks:* Hindus have been subjected to violent attacks, including physical assault, arson, and looting.

- *Police Inaction:* Local authorities have failed to take adequate action, with many cases going unreported or unpunished.

*Demands:*

- *Scrap Test Series:* Cancel the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh, starting on 19th September 2024.
