We have had a response from Tony Burke saying that the number of applications for refugees outweighs the number of spots available for intake, so it can take many years. Reza and his family have already been rejected before for this reason. We have contacted a lawyer and they have said that as well. Unfortunately Reza and his family have not been able to learn sufficient English to get a work refugee visa through Talent Beyond Boundaries, they have sufficient English to have everyday conversations. Thankyou for your support. At this time Reza and his family will need to stay in Turkey as no other country will accept them because of the UN rules. We are hoping that the UN will refer the family to Australia-that way is much easier. The UN has told the family they can’t process them now. Reza's family in Australia have embraced the Australian way of living and Reza is pro Australian values.
