I am a resident of Eton, QLD, Australia and like many others in my community, I have been personally and professionally impacted by the lack of mail delivery. There have been instances where our mail has arrived late or not at all.

Eton is a vibrant community with people who rely heavily on regular mail service for various reasons - be it personal correspondence, business needs or receiving essential goods. The closure of our local postal service has caused significant inconvenience and disruption.

Australia Post is mandated to provide an efficient and regular letter service as per the Australian Postal Corporation Act 1989 (Cth). However, the residents of Eton are being deprived of this basic right. This isn't just about letters; it's about connectivity, commerce and community.

We urge Australia Post to consider initiating regular mail delivery to houses in the Eton community. It's time for us to receive the same level of postal service as other communities across Australia do.
