EVER SINCE THIS YEAR IS THE 30th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF PERSONA SERIES...

Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth was an eagerly anticipated sequel for the Nintendo 3DS that promised an exciting continuation of the beloved Persona series. However, when it finally arrived in the West, one major aspect left many, including myself, feeling frustrated and disappointed — an absence of the English dub!

As a devoted fan of the Persona games (who is also Hikari’s English voice actress in training), this omission was profoundly disappointing for me and many others who thrive on the immersive experience brought by the talented English voice actors.

Without their English voices, the game feels incomplete. I refused to buy it, longing for the depths and enjoyment the series usually provides.

So why did ATLUS and SEGA skip this crucial aspect in Persona Q2? The reasons are more likely multifactorial, likely stemming from developmental challenges and, unfortunately, corporate financial priorities.

Despite this setback, Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth remains a gem that deserves to shine in its full potential with an English dub, as did its predecessor, "Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth".

And also, Amazon USA & Amazon Canada has listed the PQ2 game for 3DS, for ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS?! (I am NOT paying for that ripoff price!!!)

It’s been 7 years since the release of Persona Q2, and neither it nor Persona Q have received the remake or the remaster treatment they merit. Meanwhile, other series receive continuous updates and remasters, so why not give Persona Q2 the attention it deserves?

ATLUS and SEGA, it’s time to make amends. Remastering Persona Q2 with an English dub would not only satisfy long-standing fans but also open the game to a wider English-speaking audience who could fall in love with the series. Let’s bring the full Persona Q2 experience to life, honouring the legacy of the Persona universe.

P.S: The reasons I’m practicing my voiceovers of Hikari from PQ2 is because I enjoy English dubs of video games and anime, and I have my friends and family, including myself, who can’t understand what they are saying in Japanese.
