As someone who firmly believes sports like football should uphold values of peace, dignity, and human rights, I am deeply concerned about Arsenal Football Club's sponsorship with Rwanda - a country implicated in the Eastern Congo War and alleged supporter of human rights-violating M23 Rebels.

According to a report published by the United Nations, Rwanda allegedly backed the M23 rebels responsible for serious human rights abuses including summary executions, rapes, and forced recruitment of children in Eastern Congo. In a war that has claimed millions of innocent lives, even the indirect involvement through sponsorship of such a country is deeply troubling.

Football is more than a game; it's a global symbol of unity, peace, and fair play. As fans and supporters of Arsenal Football Club and the beautiful game of football, we must take a stand on maintaining these values.

Therefore, we call on Arsenal Football Club, an prestigious entity with millions of worldwide supporters, to take a strong position and discontinue the sponsorship with Rwanda.
