Urge African Nations to Join AES for True Independence 4Change

The Issue

Wake Up and Remember Pan Africans

Every day, millions of Africans are grappling with poverty, hunger, and insecurity, despite living on a continent rich with natural resources. **Over 5.4 million people have died in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), due to ongoing conflicts*. Meanwhile, in Nigeria, Christians have been killed during religious processions, all while with better leadership, as exemplified by President Captain Ibrahim Traoré of Burkina Faso, these tragedies could be averted.

President Traoré, the youngest president in the world, has demonstrated immense progress over just two years by focusing on self-reliance, freedom, and dignity—a framework of leadership that the **Alliance of Sahel States (AES)** continues to promote. This framework enables countries to break free from neocolonial influences, prioritize citizen welfare, and maximize resource benefits without external interference.

We appeal to nations like the DRC, Nigeria, and others facing similar challenges to consider **following the AES framework** for genuine autonomy. By rejecting the dependency-encouraging structure of the African Union (AU) in favor of a more independent model like AES, African countries can reclaim their destinies and ensure prosperity for their people.

That's the mission of this Petition:  to urge African presidents to real leaders to do the job their citizens send them to office for,  and show AES Sahel states like LEADERSHIP,  to end the stronghold of neocolonialism and Imperialism with the complicity of International Financial Institutions, namely the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank, to ensure Africa remains in a permanent debt crisis.

Keep in mind that the initial aim of the World Bank was to provide long-term economic development and environmental Protection, Healthcare, education, and infrastructure to developing countries.  What are the results today?

Instead of reducing debt to promote growth, these financial institutions turned African countries into their Piggy banks for the Western superpower, and in a permanent debt crisis, year after year.  Thomas Sankara said it best in his speech. He was assassinated like those black leaders, and known as prophets, killed for speaking truth to powers and standing tall to serve their people and not enrich the Western in order to live in palaces and drive luxury cars while their citizens are starving without running water or electricity, with potholes streets like craters.

Most African presidents are simply puppets and pulled by the strings of the West.  To stay in power, the must obey and negotiate deals that benefit the West at the expense of African people. They live in constant fear, unable to exercise real leadership to provide the basics to their citizens, having to beg for more to keep their respective country in the debt crisis as they are expected to do by their Western masters and those International Financial Institutions.

This forces African presidents, many corrupt puppets of the West, to choose between two options: DEBT or DEATH.

One option is to keep the homeland with DEBT for the African leader to stay alive as long as he/she remains a puppet to let the West lead and do whatever they want, and this includes free access to the country natural resources by the Western companies with pricing, terms and conditions determine by the West, no question asked. Another option, for the few courageous and noncorrupt African leaders like President TRAORE, who is at his 20th assassination attempt, is DEATH to the African leader identified as “dictator” for daring to defy the neocolonialists and imperialists and refusing to be their puppet to serve his citizens or the African people.

Unlike the majority of African Presidents mostly corrupt, courageous African leaders like President Traore whose focus is to serve the people and not the West, manage to eliminate debt that was supposed to be the original aim of those International Financial Institutions like the World Bank when it was established in 1944, and now those International Financial Institutions seem to set policies and rules that are more beneficial to the West,  and contrary to the World Bank original goal, than to Africa with debt growing increasingly for less growth, thus keeping Africa as the piggy bank to western societies development for LIFE in debt.

Thomas Sankara spoke of debt and its origin in his speech of July 1987 at the African International Conference. He was assassinated in 1987, yes, shot to DEATH for defying the WEST as stated above, and was also called dictator, communist, and all kinds of names, and in his speech titled “A United Front Against Debt,” French to English translated at:https://www.marxists.org/archive/sankara/1987/july/29.htm

"We think that debt has to be seen from the perspective of its origins. Debt’s origins come from colonialism’s origins. Those who lend us money are those who colonized us. They are the same ones who used to manage our states and economies, the colonizers who indebted Africa through their brothers and cousins, who were the lenders. We had no connections w/ith this debt. Therefore, we cannot pay for it."

"Debt is neo-colonialism, in which colonizers have transformed themselves into “technical assistants.” We should rather say “technical assassins.” They present us with financing, with financial backers. As if someone’s backing could create development. We have been advised to go to these lenders. We have been offered nice financial arrangements. We have been indebted for 50, 60 years and even longer. That means we have been forced to compromise our people for over 50 years.”

Following President Sankara's assassination, and perhaps you guessed it, the West selected their African puppet to work for Western societies instead of the people, and debt skyrocketed with Poverty in Burkina Faso, along with terrorism recruiting jobless youth.

Those failed International Financial Institutions and their super power politicians carried on business as usual with loans and strings attached to their Burknabe President and puppet which Thomas Sankara, like his reincarnated President Captain TRAORE whose coup with peace and nobody dies,  took power and the people of Burkina Faso decided to keep him from transition to now for making Burkina Faso debt free and a country industrializing, manufacturing and selling EVs – Electrical Vehicles and Burkina Faso GDP almost triple in just two years, something the World Bank failed his original mission to assist developing countries. That’s why we, Pan-African advocates, urge all of Africa to follow Burkina Faso as a successful model of sovereignty and dignity.

Join this movement for true African independence and self-sufficiency. **Call upon African governments to embrace the principles of the AES and pave a new path for the continent's future.**
