Please come to the City Council meeting tomorrow at 10AM.  We need to send a strong message with our presence at the meeting. Council needs to continue to hear and see us or else they will just continue to say there are no adjacent neighbors, no nearby residential neighborhood, no impacted businesses and it is a great location for a 1000 bed homeless shelter.   There will be public comment before their fourth closed door session on the Kettner and Vine shelter lease proposal and it is important we are there.

While we need to flood them in person, there is also an opportunity to call in during public comment (included information below on how to call in).  

For those in person, you can cede your time.  They only provide 1-3 minutes per person, but people who attend and don't want to speak can cede their time to others who have prepared thoughtful points in opposition.  Please invite your friends and neighbors to attend or call in. Just being present sends a big message. This impacts all communities of San Diego who will also be paying the bill.   

Please come tomorrow and recruit friends and neighbors to come out as well.
