Uphold Temporary Protective Status for Ukrainians

The Issue

As individuals deeply connected to the important work of HHI for Ukraine based out of Hilton Head, South Carolina, we have witnessed firsthand the immense hardships faced by those who have had to flee their homes in Ukraine due to the violent conflict that has been ravaging the country for years. The pain and uncertainty that these people experience is something that we cannot ignore.

Since 2014, more than 1.4 million people have had to leave their homes in Ukraine (source: UNHCR). Many of them have found refuge in the United States, where they have been granted Temporary Protective Status (TPS), an immigrant status that allows them to live and work in the United States, temporarily safe from being returned to their war-torn homelands.

United for Ukraine has championed this cause, enabling countless Ukrainians to find safety and rebuild their lives under the TPS protections. However, the continuation of this protection is under imminent threat. The potential rollback of TPS protections for Ukrainians would not only disrupt the lives of these individuals but also disregard the continued unstable situation in Ukraine.

We must stand for what is right and voice our support for maintaining the TPS protections for Ukrainians in the United States. We ask the U.S. government to uphold their commitment to humanitarianism and continue to extend this lifeline to those displaced by the conflict. Please sign this petition to show your support for the vulnerable Ukrainians who so desperately need our help.
