Uphold Human Rights

The Issue

ROSIE FOR PRESIDENT! LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED

As a victim of ongoing exploitation, harassment, sexual harassment and abuse, I am deeply concerned about the lack of respect for my human rights. For 30 long years, I have endured terrorism, torture, extortion, sexual abuse and bullying that has left me feeling helpless and unsafe in my own home. It is time to take action and demand that public housing and public safety authorities prioritize the well-being and rights of their patrons.

Public housing and public spaces  is intended to provide affordable homes for individuals and families who may not have access to stable housing options. However, it is disheartening to witness how these vulnerable communities often face neglect when it comes to their basic rights. The following are some key issues that need urgent attention:

1. Safety: Public housing should be a sanctuary where residents feel secure from harm. Yet, countless individuals like myself experience constant fear due to inadequate security measures, lack of proper lighting in common areas, broken locks on doors or windows, and insufficient response from management when safety concerns are raised.

2. Maintenance: Livable conditions are essential for any home environment; however, many public housing units suffer from neglectful maintenance practices. Issues such as leaking roofs or pipes, mold  rodent insect infestations due to water damage or poor ventilation systems pose serious health risks for tenants.

3. Discrimination: It is crucial that all residents are treated fairly regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, disability status or any other protected characteristic under the law. Unfortunately, instances of discrimination within public housing complexes persistently occur without proper consequences for those responsible.

4. Accountability: Transparency and accountability must be upheld by public housing authorities in order to ensure tenant satisfaction and well-being. Regular inspections should be conducted by independent bodies to assess living conditions while providing an avenue for tenants' grievances to be heard without fear of retaliation. DHS should take over.

To address these pressing concerns within our public housing system effectively requires immediate action. We call upon local and national authorities, as well as housing management companies, to take the following steps:

1. Implement comprehensive security measures to ensure the safety of all residents within public housing complexes.
2. Allocate sufficient resources for regular maintenance and repairs to guarantee livable conditions for tenants.
3. Enforce strict anti-discrimination policies and provide training for staff members on fair treatment practices.
4. Establish an independent oversight body responsible for conducting regular inspections and addressing tenant complaints promptly.

By signing this petition, we demand that Doll House, Cnn, Bellagio, Diddy and or associates, entities, and public housing authorities prioritize my rights by taking immediate action to pay damages remove the leaked footage and rectify these issues. Together, we can create a safe and respectful environment where every individual has access to decent public space conditions without fear of violence, discrimination, retaliation and even worse death.
