Hi everyone,

I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for the incredible support this petition has received so far. Every single signature means so much — it shows how strongly our community feels about fixing this intersection and making it safer for everyone.

We still need your help to keep the momentum going. Please, keep sharing this petition with your friends, neighbours, and on your social media. I would love for us to reach 2,000 signatures by next Monday, when I have a meeting scheduled with Shane King to discuss the intersection and the proposed plans.

At the moment, there are whispers of a plan that wouldn’t even commence for another 10 years, which I’m sure we can all agree is simply not good enough for our area. We deserve a safer, more efficient crossing now — not in a decade.

The meeting with Shane King is on Monday the 14th, the same day many of us go back to school runs and will hate that intersection even more. Let’s show the power of community by getting as many signatures as possible so I can present a strong case on behalf of us all.

I am so grateful and thankful for your support. Together, we can show the next generation that the system isn’t broken — and that when we stand together as a community, we can make a real difference.
