As an individual, and representative of many, who cannot afford the continuous influx of new iPhones, I demand that Apple extends the Apple Intelligence to previous generation iPhone models.

This petition stems from the struggle we face when new features exclusive to the latest iPhones are introduced. Apple Intelligence features, while revolutionary for the way we use smartphones, have been exclusive to newer models. Is it fair that we, as consumers who can't always upgrade immediately, miss out because of financial constraints? We don't think so.

It is estimated that a significant 44.8% of active iPhone users are using devices that are three years old or older (Counterpoint Research, 2020). This suggests that the inclusion of Apple Intelligence features in older models could impact, and indeed benefit, nearly half of iPhone users worldwide.

Apple, as a global industry leader, has the capacity to provide a software update that includes the features of Apple Intelligence. Such an action would promote inclusivity and demonstrate that they care about all of their customers, not just the ones buying their newest products.

Please, we urge you to sign this petition, to call Apple to bring Apple Intelligence to older iPhones. This isn't just for us; it's for millions of iPhone users across the globe. Let's make sure no one is left behind in this technological advancement.
