I have not received response from the city since my last email on March 14th. Almost 2 weeks ago. That is unfortunate as I was really hoping to receive the actual numbers of the last evaluation of this intersection in 2019 as well as the Transportation Authority of Canada’s specific criteria for an intersection like this to have a 4 way controlled intersection (which was just updated in 2018). When this intersection is evaluated again, hopefully this spring, I would like to compare the growth. I will email Mark Halpin again on Monday along with the Mayor’s office and the 2 school Trustees Elaine Yamamoto (who is the Chair and Transportation Advisory Committee alternate) and Gabe Liosis (who is on the City of Maple Ridge Transportation Advisory Committee) we will also be discussing this at our next Albion PAC Meeting on Tue April 4th. I will also be out during school drop off tomorrow morning with flyers.
