As concerned residents of Sproat Lake Area D, we are deeply invested in the future of our community. 

We are calling on the BC provincial government and the Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District (ACRD) board to fund an updated Sproat Lake Area D Incorporation Study. The last one was conducted years ago and doesn't reflect the current situation or needs of our residents. An updated study will provide valuable insights into taxation, improving public services, managing resources more effectively, and enhancing the quality of life for all residents in Sproat Lake Area D.  

Incorporating can provide us with more control over local issues that affect us daily - from building and bylaw development to taxation. This comes with its own set of considerations which need to be thoroughly analyzed. We believe that it is in the best interest of all residents of Sproat Lake District to have access to this vital information.
