Wirral Borough Council is making a change to how households can apply for parking permits within certain zones around Wirral. Starting the 28th of October, the council will start charging households £60 annually for each car they assign to their address and £40 annually for every visitors pass.

At the moment this country is going through a cost of living crisis and the council are now planning to charge people even more money each year to be able to park in their own road.

I believe the council has tried to sneak this change in by only putting up notices around lamp posts hoping that people won't see them instead of posting in the local newspaper or putting letters in to the effected addresses.
