UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT - For the voices they buried
The Issue

I was accused of a violent crime I didn’t commit — and treated as guilty before I ever had the chance to speak.
My counter-allegation was ignored.
My evidence was buried.
The police smirked. The system closed in.
And I was charged under a law written in 1861.
Section 20 of the Offences Against the Person Act is dangerously outdated. It was written in a different era — long before mental health awareness, coercive control, or modern standards of justice. Yet it’s still being used today to prosecute people without full investigations, without context, and sometimes without any real evidence at all.
I’m not the only one.
Across this country, innocent people are being falsely accused — and left to fight alone. Their evidence is dismissed. Their counter-allegations ignored. Their lives destroyed. And when the truth finally does surface, it’s too late. The damage is already done.
The system doesn’t just fail us.
It buries us.
That’s why I’ve launched Until Proven Innocent — a movement for every person failed by the system that was supposed to protect them.
We demand:
- A full review and reform of the 1861 Offences Against the Person Act — especially Section 20 GBH
- Mandatory investigation of all counter-allegations in criminal cases
Legal protections and trauma-informed support for individuals who are falsely accused - Accountability for police officers who ignore evidence, mishandle cases, or pursue bias-led investigations
- Independent oversight when a case involves disputed accounts or a history of prior harassment
This petition isn’t just about one case.
It’s about justice, fairness, and the right to be heard.
It’s about every innocent person who’s ever been stripped of their freedom, their reputation, or their future — without a voice.
Sign this petition. Share it. And let the system know: we’re not going quietly.
Until Proven Innocent. For the voices they buried.
“They tried to bury me in silence, but I lit a fire in my belly — and now I burn for justice. I’m no longer surviving. I’m coming for the truth.”
