We, a group of highly agitated students, share a common frustration. Our beloved art creation platform, Pixilart, has been blocked by the Bloomsburg School District. Pixilart, for us, is more than just a recreational website. It served as the canvas where we expressed ourselves and shared our creativity. This platform helps encourage creativity, promotes digital literacy, and provides a safe space for young artists to engage with each other. As reported by EdTech Magazine, 67% of teachers believe that digital artmaking tools advance student creativity. Yet, Bloomsburg School District has restricted us from reaping these benefits.

What makes our anger even more justified is the contradiction of this ban with the school district's mission to ensure every student develops the skills necessary for life-long learning. By blocking Pixilart, our school district unintentionally hampers our artistic growth and our freedom to learn outside prepared curriculums. 

We request the Bloomsburg School District to reconsider their decision and unblock Pixilart. It is an essential part of our academic and creative growth.
