So the other day while doing Lyft, my ankle monitor thing goes off and I received a call from the monitoring people asking why am I outside of the zone. I told them that my Parole Officer is aware that I am driving for Lyft and it should be in the system. Mind you this is maybe the fourth time that I’m driving with a client in the car answering my phone! So needless to say I get a call basically saying that I can no longer drive for Lyft due to me not practicing safe driving and being unprofessional. The client heard me explaining myself to the parole people and it spooked her that she was in the car with a felon who was also on house arrest. So now I’m unable to work for Lyft and parole had literally nothing to say about it and brushed pass it as if losing a job was nothing! They are inconsiderate and could care less about us being productive as long as we see them when they schedule a meet and don’t have a dirty urine it’s all good. They wonder why these things be happening out here with parolees and the real answer is they have a one size fits all plan! They are people who abuse there power and they make up things as they go along! I was only given a few hours advance that I was to be home for a visit and I asked can we do 11:30 because I had a meeting with the wonderful people at mothers in charge I was told that “I’m not on your time your on mines!” Like what??? How productive could I really be if I’m able to pick up and drop whatever I’m doing to accommodate you? They wouldn’t be able to do it or any other prosocial individual so why think that a man who’s trying to make the best out of a 8pm curfew could? I’m tired y’all am honestly I’m lost…I feel as if I’m being speed balled and oppressed and this isn’t right! Every time that I call and ask to speak with a supervisor I’m being told that I can’t speak to one, but when I ask where is this in writing they can’t show me because they literally do what they want and if I have to be the sacrificial lamb to expose what goes on them so be it! Pray for me y’all please, this isn’t a easy journey and it’s really an unnecessary one that I shouldn’t even be traveling but since life Delt me lemons I’m gonna make a lemonade slushy!
