Marisa Sette has continuously been racist and Islamaphobic towards Black, Brown, and Muslim students on the University campus. She has gaslighted us, fetishized us, and employed a white savior/superiority complex.has accomplished this by using weaponized fear tactics (including threatening us with , calling campus RA's, and contacting University Deans). Her only punishment so far has been sensitivity training, and she has not demonstrated changed behavior. Continuously prejudiced individuals should not have the privilege of being published by our University. We have learned all too well what happens when racist people write publications on groups they have helped to marginalize and oppress. It might seem small but, please help us get justice. Email/DM/Call  University and the University School of International Service. Ask them to take her work down.
