With the rising cases of COVID-19 cases in Canada, especially Ontario, it is best to re-consider online classes or the ability to choose offline / online classes for Winter 2022. For international students, it is uncertain and alarming to travel during the pandemic season, especially with the rise of Omicron and Delta variant cases in Ontario. This will disadvantage those who lives in a country that do not have high COVID-19 cases or those two variants. For domestic students, some are likely to live with high-risk people (grandparents, people with sickness or little children) and it is not fair for them to completely go back offline.

We hope that UTSC and the other two campuses, will re-consider in going 80% offline for Winter 2022. To a large extent, it is dangerous to put back students in lecture rooms, when the COVID-19 cases are rising stably high day by day.
