Student Union demands Sussex fire Lee Salter

The University of Sussex Student's Union has released a statement within the last few minutes calling for Sussex to immediately dismiss Dr Lee Salter and to take a clear zero tolerance stance against violence towards students. They said: 'This incident is an example of why universities need to continue to work on their strategies to combat and prevent domestic and sexual violence. It is particularly important that the University takes the correct disciplinary procedures with their staff, in line with the work they have been doing on student discipline.'
