The Covid-19 Stimulus Bill allocates 15 billion dollars for universities to respond to the Coronavirus epidemic. With 20 million higher education students in America, this comes out to 750 dollars per student. At the University of South Florida, students no longer have access to the on-campus services that were paid for at the beginning of the semester and have to take in-person classes online. USF students deserve to be monetarily reimbursed due to not receiving the same quality of education and services that were initially paid for. Students go into a lot of student debt to receive these educational services as well as the college experience. The stimulus package to universities should be going to the people who are no longer receiving the same services that were originally paid for.

Additionally, all non-essential workers of the university need paid time off (PTO) during the epidemic as many other universities are doing. University workers should not have to choose between their health and their pay during the epidemic. 

Universities can pocket any of the stimulus budget that is not spent, so it is important to sign to show that students need this money!
