Hi all!

We're up to 146 signatures at this moment, which is completely amazing. Thank you for all your support! Today the provost of UNH, Wayne Jones, sent out an email saying that the deadline to sign the "Informed Consent Agreement" has been extended until after the Town Hall. If you can attend, it's Thursday, July 23, 2020, at 7 p.m. (https://unh.zoom.us/j/92276774648 or +1 646 876 9923 Webinar ID: 922 7677 4648).

However, in this newest email, he offered paltry consolation for class and COVID testing concerns and provided no new information on the guidelines we will be expected to follow (although he claimed these guidelines are "comprehensive"). Furthermore, he did NOT address any concerns regarding tuition. Not even a mention of it.

So what do we now? Keep sharing this petition and getting more signatures. Keep talking to the local news (the Union Leader ran our story!). Keep fighting back. If you can attend the Town Hall, please do, and express your concerns. If you are willing, please email the Provost Jones to express your concerns directly. Thank you all for your continued support!

Cheers,

Via

P.S. If you *did* sign the agreement and wish to redact your signature, you can now do so! Provost Jones's instructions: Login to Webcat, choose “Student Informed Consent Agreement” from the Personal Information menu and click “I would like to change my response.” Any technical questions about how to do this can be directed to the UNH Help Desk at (603) 862-4242.
