Dear supporters,

Sadly, the all the buildings of Maguire Village have been destroyed (although UVS still stands, for now); however, the hundreds of historic trees on site can still be saved, but time is running out.  UF admins are now trying to "revise" the initial promise to save the trees, and one committee is taking a vote on potential removal of 131 large trees on August 7, 2025!  Please email the UF LVL Committee members and ask them to vote "No" (agenda and attachment documents found here, which also shows plans to remove scores more trees on campus as part of other projects), or show up to comment in person if you can.  Please also write to the UF Board of Trustees and tell them to save the historic campus trees of Maguire Village and UVS!
