The University of Central Arkansas Cheerleading team was told at 8:00 AM on 2/6/2023 that they are suspended for the semester. This means no competition at NCA in Daytona Florida, no basketball season, and no appearances. The reasoning they received was for complaints and being disrespectful. 

This is all not true. The athletes had valid complaints to the University for the last two years. They wanted a Coach who would coach them. This 2022-2023 season this team started with 40 athletes. They lost 20 athletes in one semester due to the Coaching staff. They lost 2 more athletes in just January of 2023. 

This team coached themselves almost every single practice and when the coach did show up, there was no direction or coaching. The coach also never showed up for games and the athletes were told if they got hurt and the coach was not in attendance then they would not be covered under the schools insurance. What is that? This is a safety issue as well. 

The athletes have many Alum who will help out so they have the opportunity to compete in Daytona for NCA Nationals in April of 2023. Please sign this to overturn what the AD said and get them a temporary coach to finish out the season! Many people will help so lets get this going!
