ASIDE FROM TRAFFIC, one common enemy of the students from the University of Cebu is the water clogging up the roads in front of the front gate. Not that it is a big problem to everybody, it's just that no one wants to go inside the campus with wet pants, socks, and shoes and no one wants to have a mess on their uniforms every time a car speeds up and overthrows the water. That's just not the way it should be. 

There are a lot of times that students are going to have a very crucial time entering the gates because of the water banks on the pavement, the drainage seemed to be functioning well but in these cases, it sometimes rejects draining the water. Not to mention when it rains, luckily, some were able to bring an umbrella to shelter themselves. But unfortunately, they are about to step into the water bank and allows water to enter their shoes and make their uniform not presentable anymore.

Nobody wants to pull their uniforms up and wear shorts inside the school just to dry them. No one wants to get their shoes and sandals wet before entering the school and no one wants a drainage that doesn't function properly. On the case of other students, they could tell everybody else to have presence of mind to prevent getting their feet into that water bank, in that case, it is okay when you are not in a rush but when you are, you would do anything as long as you are able to get into the school to finish PTs, practice, and etc. and believe us, no one wants to practice with wet pants and shoes.

This may not mean much to other students but to those who wants to go to school comfortable, hassle free, and dry this petition is everything. That is why this organization is trying to voice out for those who cannot and are terrified about what the higher authority would have to say about this. Nevertheless, the welfare of the students is what we prioritize.

This petition is for the people who are in authority, this may be a little matter to you but for students, this could be everything. May the force be with you!
