Remove all infertility patients from maternity centres

Remove all infertility patients from maternity centres
The Issue
The LIP Campaign - Listening to Infertility Patients
Hello and thank you for checking out this petition. I'm Claire and I'm the Research Lead for this campaign.
The LIP Campaign is a newly planned independent research campaign to request the removal of all patients with fertility/infertility issues out of the Maternity Assessment Units (MAU's) and Early Pregnancy Units (EPU's).
Following my own personal traumatic experience of the following, I am now also being told by women all over the country of their own similar unethical experiences of having to attend an MAU or EPU centre and having to sit amongst pregnant women and couples in the waiting area. Just as they are about to walk in and discuss their own planned hysterectomy because they can no longer get pregnant; or because they need their reproductive organs removing due to damage and adhesions from conditions like Endometriosis or Adenomyosis; or because they need to be taught how to use self-use catheters due to bladder retention.
Women suffering with life-limiting conditions such as Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, PCOS, Fibroids, PID, etc, who require services such as being taught how to use ISC's (Intermittent Self-Use Catheters), or who require pelvic/abdominal ultrasounds (services which are often also associated with maternity services) should have access to their own area within the hospital, away from anything maternity related, and with the correct help and advice on display too.
