On April 12th of 2019 18-year-old Sebastian Serafin-Bazán was found unconscious in front of a private house that belonged to the Sigma-Pi fraternity. He was later pronounced dead on April 17th. The Sigma Pi fraternity had instructed Sebastian to do push-ups at 11pm of April 12th , after doing 20 pushups they had instructed him to do more, after doing more and more push-ups he collapsed. He reportedly also was not allowed to drink or eat anything for 3 days. One of the pledges had heard him gasping for air then started cpr while the Sigma Pi president called 911. They proceeded to pick up Sebastian walk him outside and leave him on the front lawn of the house. This was an act of hazing. It occurred one and a half year ago and we have yet to receive justice for him. Please help us get justice for Sebastian! By signing this petition it will urge the University at Buffalo to take disciplinary action against all the students involved. Christina Hernandez, interim Vice President of student life stated, “The university appreciates the efforts of the Buffalo Police Department to investigate this tragic incident and share detailed files from its investigation,” This is not the first time there has been a hazing case with the Sigma Pi fraternity, there’s have been many other reported cases. On April 7th 2020 Erie County District Attorney John Flynn announced he will not be filing criminal charges against the students involved. They are not helping us get justice for Sebastian.  HELP US TAKE ACTION AND GET JUSTICE FOR SEBASTIAN! STOP HAZING
