Why Aren't Universities Required to Supply Safe Beds?

Rail Against the Danger (RAD) is working on RAD-ical change. We beg the question, "why aren't colleges held to the same consumer safety standard for bunk and loft beds?" Is a bed less dangerous on a college campus than it is in your bedroom at home? A recent ruling in a court in Georgia blames the 18 year-old freshman who fell from her loft bed instead of the university who ignored her pleas for a safety rail OR to lower her bed. Read here...
