still no shade

People have asked me the status of the shade issue at the port of entry.. Well... There is still no shade. There is a large fan where temporary shade should be. Not sure if they are waiting for cooler weather? Maybe thinking this will just be forgotten? One thing I know for sure is that it is not very important to them. Both Will Hurd's office and Pete Gallego's office had no resolution and never got back with me. I want everyone to know that canopies, sandbags to anchor them down, 100 cases of water were offered to the port at no cost. They will not accept outside donations. It should not take an act of congress to do an act of kindness. If you are so inclined, please file a formal complaint of your own. Not sure it will get done, but at least they will have to address it.
